Make This Favorite Summer Salad Recipe Today
Breaking news – summertime is a great time for salads. I know, I know – it’s a little surprising to hear the gal who would live on chocolate chip cookies alone waxing poetic about summer salad recipes. But life is all about balance, no?
While I love soup on a cold winter’s night, I’m pretty stoked that we added deli salads and yummy dips to our prepared meal delivery menu for the summer months. By now you’ve hopefully seen the addition of taco pasta salad and the watermelon with arugula kinds of items available to order for Wednesday or Sunday delivery. We think they can be the base for a fun and easy Tuesday night meal on their own or serve as the perfect side dish for your next backyard BBQ.
Of course we want to help y’all out by making and delivering these dishes to you, Milwaukee neighbors, but if you want to try your own hand at summer salads, give this Alliance Salad recipe a whirl. We call it the Alliance Salad because Maggie first enjoyed it at a potluck at her first job, at the Alliance for Children and Families. It’s pretty popular on the potluck scene and for good reason. Six minutes of prep work and you’re good to go! It’s the meal time win you can bank on.
