  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • ½ tsp almond oil extract

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil over medium-low heat on the stovetop, stirring often, or in a microwavable bowl in the well, microwave, heating at 30-second intervals.⁠
  2. Stir in the almond extract. Allow to cool slightly before putting on your ice cream. You can store the extra sauce in a microwave-safe container. When it's time to use again, reheat the whole container, again in 30-second increments. You can do this three or four times before it loses its luster.⁠

DAIRY-FREE

- Look for dairy-free chocolate chips and you’re good to go!


NUT-FREE

-Skip the almond extract. Play around with other extracts. Simple vanilla would be good. Cherry extract would be amazing!
