The Real Good Life Celebrates 7 Years of Delicious Success!
The Real Good Life, a local meal delivery service known for its mouthwatering meals and commitment to community, is thrilled to announce its 7th Anniversary Party, taking place on September 13th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at their kitchen located at 7227 W North Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53217.
Founded by Maggie Skarich Joos, The Real Good Life has come a long way since its humble beginnings in a church kitchen in Shorewood. Now, with 7 years of crafting tasty food under their belt, the company employs a dedicated team of 31 people and serves the Metro Milwaukee area with their delectable meals.
As part of their anniversary celebration, The Real Good Life invites the community to join them for a special chocolate chip cookie and milk toast at 5:45 PM, symbolizing their sweet journey over the past seven years. This event will not only commemorate their culinary accomplishments but also their unwavering commitment to giving back to the community.
Throughout their history, The Real Good Life has delivered over 40,000 bags of delicious meals to their loyal customers. Additionally, they have raised an impressive $35,000 for the Hunger Task Force and various other charities, showcasing their dedication to making a difference beyond the kitchen.
“At The Real Good Life, we believe every meal serves the community, the home and the whole self,” says Director of Operations, Ryan Buenning. “It's special to be part of a workplace where genuine care prevails. Our model is unique in the sense we don’t get to meet our customers face to face, but we are regularly blown away from the support we feel from them, particularly in backing our food business and nonprofit partners.”
Batter & Mac and Milwaukee Pretzel Company will be featured during the event to showcase the “Local Flavor” program, where they celebrate their community friends by highlighting other local restaurants, caterers, and locally produced packaged goods.
Guests are invited to bring a new toy for the “Magic Room” at the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin, yet another beneficiary of The Real Good Life's ongoing commitment to supporting local nonprofits.
