Spicy Asian Chicken with Brown Rice and Broccoli

If heat’s your thang, then this is your dish. Curry powder and crushed red pepper flakes are the strongest flavors in this chicken’s marinade. You’ll also find brown sugar, soy sauce and lime dressing up dinner tonight. Served with brown rice and steamed broccoli.

About Single Serving Orders

This size is available in “lunchbox style” or “make at home” versions. For the lunchbox, I’ll do all the work so you’re all set for the brown bag. If you select “make at home”, you get to spend some time in the kitchen. I don’t do your dishes, but I’ve done the rest of your dirty work. Basic time and instructions are included below.  If you order the “lunchbox style”, it comes with fruit.


Instructions: Heat oil in wok or large skillet. Stir-fry chicken over medium heat until pieces are no longer pink in the center.

Alternatively, you can use the grill to cook the chicken.

Meanwhile, heat rice in the microwave.

Broccoli can be steamed in the microwave by placing in a bowl with just a couple tablespoons of water. Cook for 1-minute durations until warmed. Drain water, toss with soy sauce mix. Alternatively, steam on stove top or stir-fry with chicken. Sauce can then be used as a condiment at the table.
