Let’s give three cheers to Lisa of 100 Days of Real Food for the following hot chocolate recipe that has no cootie-filled ingredients but takes less time than the powdered stuff. Yummy flavor and semi-healthy, woo! (While this recipe is technically granulated sugar-free, it does include maple syrup, so let’s not kid ourselves… A cup a day is plenty, friends…)
Clean Hot Chocolate for One
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk*
- Stir (and stir and stir and stir!) the maple syrup and cocoa powder until the two ingredients form liquid-y goodness.
- Heat your milk and then add the chocolate sauce. Enjoy!
